A little more
about Basil.
Hi my name's Basil, I've just finished my A levels and am now working full time in gardening and general estate work. I live in Hertfordshire, in a rural park, on site as my family runs the park with currently 3 dogs, 2 ducks, 8 chickens and 12 guinea pigs. My interests lie in wildlife, conservation, photography, politics, wood work, rugby and supporting my local football team. My favourite bird is the Red kite. I’ve signed for a hard landscaping course (paving, fencing, garden walls) and RHS horticulture to complement my practical experience. When the opportunity for this changemaker program arose as it gained my attention for the conservation element, together with the opportunity to meet new people from different backgrounds that I may have had if I would have pursued a university education. I have previously had leadership training and experience in leading different age groups and I enjoy this and would welcome a further opportunity.
