about Sara.
My name is Sara Oussaiden, and I am a community-engaged artist based in Dundee, Scotland. I am passionate about increasing the accessibility and visibility of art and arts education for young people. Through my work and volunteering experience, I recognise and navigate the class and financial barriers that prevent many from accessing spaces and skills that support a richer, more holistic approach to wellbeing and mental health care. Through the programme and alongside the rest of this year’s cohort, I look forward to building on my community connections and prior conversations with policymakers to explore how we can drive lasting and impactful change in today’s fast-moving climate.
